About
Nathan Weber, PLS, is the President and Owner of Diamond Land
Surveying. He has been surveying since 1993. He began his career in Vernal,
UT as a sophomore in high school as a crew hand in the summer and a draftsman after
school during the winter. He quickly learned the trade and was assigned a crew at the
age of 17. In 1998 he moved to the Wasatch Front where he was hired to work on the
I-15 reconstruction project through the Salt Lake Valley. He was hired as the survey
auditor at the age of 21 for the entire project leaving him the responsibility to check daily
each project of the 13 full time survey crews on the freeway. Later, he was assigned
to one of two crews responsible for the control and layout of the I-15, I-80 and SR201
interchange bridge network. In 2000 Nathan took a position at Diamond Design and Land Surveying and advanced quickly toward his surveying degree in 2002 and his license in the State of Utah in
early 2003. Nathan purchased Diamond Design and Land Surveying from his previous
employer in October of 2003. Since that time he has been a pioneer in Utah and the
surrounding region as one of the first to purchase and implement LiDAR scanning into
his everyday surveying practices. Nathan is an innovative thinker and with his network of
professionals, can solve nearly any problem brought to him.
