Well Proofs / Water Rights

A well proof is required by the state to prove to them how you are using the water rights you requested to use. For example… If you have a .50 acre of irrigation use and 4 stock watering uses and 1 domestic use – you need to show them that you are using the water for those reasons.

A Land surveyor/engineer visits the location of the well or spring. We survey the well and locate it in regards to an already accepted corner. We test the flow of the well/spring using a weir to determine the flow of the water source. We identify the uses of the water. For example… we identify the irrigated parts, we locate the stock watering uses and we identify the location of the domestic use.
